In collaboration with TSItouch, Displaylite installed the TSItouch patented, Glass Retention Bezel System (GRBS) onto four Samsung 55” UH55F-E LCD video wall panels. These panels are mounted in a 2W x 2H matrix with a custom touchscreen overlay utilizing Baanto ShadowSense touch technology and Touchtech Lima software. The solution can be seen at Samsung Electronics showroom in Chertsey, Surrey United Kingdom.
Using thermally toughened tempered glass, the GRBS provides protection to the face of the video wall panel making it the ideal solution for use in public area. The GRBS also provides protection to video wall panels used in touchscreen applications.
Applied to each video wall display, GRBS eliminates the need to use a large single sheet of glass, which due to weight and size is challenging and costly to transport, install and service.
