Displaylite Ltd a specialist supplier of computer based touchscreens and displays, announces it is now a member of the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR), a new accreditation system created by ADS for the aerospace, defence and security sectors which is managed by Hellios Information. By joining JOSCAR, Displaylite demonstrate that they have achieved the requirement needed to be a compliant supplier on the JOSCAR accreditation scheme.
In order to join JOSCAR, Displaylite underwent a stringent supplier qualification and compliance process requiring them to provide information on quality, sustainability, health and safety as well as service. In joining JOSCAR, Displaylite reaffirm their commitment to provide high quality solutions and deliver first class service to their customers while complying with the latest regulations of the industries they serve.
Steve Legg, Director at Displaylite, commented, “We are delighted to receive the JOSCAR Accreditation and this demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest standard of service.”
JOSCAR was created by ADS to help suppliers demonstrate that they are “fit for business” in the aerospace, defence and security sectors as well as in other sectors. By creating a central system holding supplier information, the process of pre-qualification, assurance and on-going compliance is facilitated both for buyers and for suppliers. The initiative is supported by organisations such as BAE Systems, Babcock International, NATS, Leonardo, Qinetiq and Meggitt, which is administrated by Hellios.
